I have been helping my parents out with their garden. They have been finding the garden hard to manage for a long time now and so we have worked out a plan to make it more manageable. We have changed the landscape edging so that it is much easier to look after. They still liked the idea of having landscape borders because they like having some plants to look at when they are in the garden. I worked hard to try to find plants that would not grow too big and that would last all of the year round which would save them having to worry about doing too much there. We changed it to raised gardens as well so that they would not have to bed to see and pick the flowers and to weed. I also am looking at something to spread on the surface of the soil like gravel or some other type of weed barrier to help things too. It has been really nice helping them out with this project because they have done so much for me in the past it is lovely to return the favour. Hopefully they will be happy with what we have achieved.
